| The forgotten classic cocktails that are bringing a vintage flair to the present day bars.
Here at Fashion Fix Daily, we love a good cocktail, so were thrilled to find out the latest boozy trend of old-fashioned cocktails having a huge comeback!
As exciting as newfangled drinks combos can be (think Revolution’s candy and dessert inspired creations or Heston Blumenthal’s crazy scientific mixes), sometimes the best cocktails are the most classic. There’s a reason people have been drinking these bad boys for well over a century!
Here are the five glorious vintage cocktails getting back on a menu near you this summer:
Chrysanthemum: (1900s) Vermouth, Bénédictine, Absinthe.
Brandy Smash: (1850s) Brandy, Mint, Sugar, Soda Water.
Silver Fizz: (1800s) Gin, Lemon Juice, Sugar, Egg White.
Daisy de Santiago: (1920s) White Rum, Yellow Chartreuse, Sugar, Lime Juice.
12 Mile Limit: (1930s) White Rum, Rye Whiskey, Brandy, Grenadine, Lemon Juice.
