Inspired by the edgy streets of Soho, Topshop's SS18 collection hit the stores almost immedietly, and credit cards have most certainly been at the ready!
Inspired by the night time grit and glamour of London in the 80's and 90's, it was Kate Phelan's swan song as she hung up her faux fur coat after 6 year creative directing the brand. She was serving pre instagram socialite realness with satin, metallics, glitter and a true "I'll wear what I want, when I want to" attitude, aptly opening the show with Pet Shop Boys' "West End Girls".
The bodycon pastel green satin dress was a firm favourite of mine (and everyone else) with it selling out almost immediately. Worn by Hailey Baldwin with a coral coat draping accross her shoulders, you were left to question whether or not she was going to the party or coming home!
Another top look had to be the yellow satin suit with matching sunglasses and shoes, paired with snakeskin rollneck. With it being the end of week two of Fashion Week, it's so refreshing to see a wearable collection, we can have right now hit the runway. I'll have the snakeprint coat as well, if you please.
Although you can buy the majority of the collection which featured everything from silver leather trousers to satin bomber jackets, you would have had to been quick off the mark to actually grab a piece of this action. There are a few sizes left floating around so get onto the new collection page fast and get one of the hottest collections from LFW a year before the season actually happens.
With Jourdan Dunn and Hailey Baldwin both walking and Kate Moss and her daughter in the front row, this is one celebrity-worn collection you’ll actually be able to afford.
