We have the ultimate brownie recipe courtesy of Adele McConnell aka The Vegie Head, perfect for every season.
Oh and did we mention they are gluten free and vegan? Basically health food! So grab your apron & lets get cooking...
Takes under one hour and gives a trayfull of delicious brownies
- 1 Cup Gluten Free Flour
- 1 Tspn Salt
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
- 2 Vanilla Bean Pods
- 3/4 Cup Coconut Oil
- 4 Tbsn Ground LSA or Flax Meal
- 1/8 Cup Cold Water (a tiny bit more if needed)
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Sift all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, then make a well and add the wet ingredients.
Mix well, then add the chocolate chips, and stir gently.
Pour into a non stick baking dish
Bake for 45-50 mins on 180C.
Use a bamboo stick/chopstick/knife, insert and if it comes out clean, it's ready baby!
Leave to cool...or you know, eat it all!
