| In an exciting turn of events, Munroe Bergdorf stars in the new Illamasqua campaign immediately after her controversial sacking by L’Oreal.
The 29-year-old transgender model and DJ posted her views on everyday racism on Facebook and later was publicly let go from her brand new contract with the French beauty giant. Bergdorf has now been hired as one of the new faces of cult British beauty brand Illamasqua, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
According to the BBC, Illamasqua has previously worked with Munroe and the company tweeted that it was "angered" by L’Oreal’s decision to fire her. Illamasqua expressed in a statement:
"Munroe embodies diversity and individuality; she is not scared to be truly herself. But Munroe doesn’t just stop there. She speaks out about the issues that affect not just her but the rest of our generation, seeking to improve the society we live in,"
