Making of Chanel Haute Couture A/W 17

In a fashion industry dominated by high-speed, low-cost production and instant trend gratification, watching truly skilled artisans painstakingly handcrafting the most luxurious haute couture gowns is a total breath of fresh air.

Watching a catwalk show for a high fashion house like Chanel is always a sparkling spectacle, full of glamour, drama, and celebrity, but the fleeting excitement of a twenty-minute showcase is nothing compared to seeing the clothes up close, and experiencing the intricate details, knowing the time, effort and skill that goes into them.

Watch behind the scenes of the Chanel's Autumn/Winter 17/18 collection, which made headlines with it's bold silhouettes, a cult classic hat, psychadelic make-up and of course, Karl Lagerfeld's custom built Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.
