Fashion Fix Daily discovers how money isn’t everything when starting your business. Scottish Entrepreneur Sarah Hill tells us what really matters.
For Todays ‘Day in the Life of’ Fashion Fix Daily caught up with Scottish Entrepreneur Sara Hill.
Sara Runs the Scottish Academy for Make up, is producer and Editor in chief of Hope Street Magazine and she has her own line of cruelty free make up! So how does she do it all?
Sara is an early riser, up at 7am every day to do emails and prep for meetings. A typical day doesn’t really exist but to keep organized Sara delegates to her team and makes lists of everything. Working in Make Up Sara says the biggest misconception about her job is that it’s not considered a creative art form.
For anyone wanting to follow in Sara’s entrepreneurial footsteps she has these words of advice.
Follow your joy. If something isn’t going your way don’t give up, but take it as a sign that you may need to make small adjustments to your strategy. Being flexible and focused in your dreams is everything. The most important thing you can give your new business isn’t money, it’s time and passion.
You can’t control everything. When things flow right its the best feeling in the world. Never start a business just to make money, start a business to make a difference in your life. Start a business to make a difference with the product or service you provide.
